Community guidelines
Bring evidence, respect people, and keep each record focused on the boat.
Document the boat
Add identifying details, equipment, sightings, history, restoration work, sale information, and sources that help others understand the individual boat.
Protect people
Do not publish private addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, registration documents, threats, harassment, sexual material, graphic violence, slurs, or information that creates a safety risk.
Make careful claims
Accusations involving fraud, crimes, ownership disputes, stolen boats, injuries, dangerous modifications, or identifiable people require reliable evidence and human review. Separate confirmed facts from community reports.
Screening and reports
Every contribution is screened for prohibited content, spam, suspicious links, personal information, and sensitive claims before publication. Published contributions include a report control for later review.
Credit sources
Explain where information came from and only upload material you have permission to share.
Correct openly
Disagreements are resolved through evidence and clear labels. Good-faith corrections are part of building a trustworthy record.
